The Weeknd Has No Comments About Selena Gomez

The Weeknd continues to be silent about his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez. The ‘Blinding Lights‘ singer usually lets out his emotions through his songs and this time as well, he’s trying to keep it to himself.

During a magazine interview, The Weeknd explained his writing process of his 2018 EP, “My Dear Melancholy”. Fans have always speculated that the album was about his break up with Selena Gomez.

On talking about the length of the album, The Weeknd mentioned, “The reason why it was so short is like, I think I just had nothing else to say on this…whatever..It was just like this cathartic piece of art. And yeah, it was short, because that’s all I had to say on this situation.”

According to the write-up, the album only took two weeks to be written, composed and recorded. Reportedly, it made him gain some closure as well.
While speaking about it, The Weeknd said, “Yeah, of course. I mean, that would have sucked if I didn’t.”

The Weeknd remained quite when he was asked who the songs were about. He declined to answer it and just said, “No Comments” while being apologetic about it. Looks like, he doesn’t want people to know however, he’s totally coming across as a gentleman.

The relationship lasted only for few months, from January 2017 to October 2017, however the couple became the talk of the town. From talking walks and attending events together to being clicked by the Paparazzi all the time, they did not miss the spotlight.

Selena Gomez was not so secretive when it came to talking about their relationship. “The best part [of being single] is actually… you know what, though? Something that I’m really proud of is that there’s such a true friendship [between me and The Weeknd]. I truly have never experienced anything like that in my life. We ended it as best friends, and it was genuinely about encouraging and caring [for each other], and that was pretty remarkable for me.”

We have realized that these two might not come back together however we are happy to know they don’t have any beef against each other. Well, now, we are wondering if The Weeknd will ever speak about his latest ex, Bella Hadid.
