‘Thousand Miles,’ a Brand-New Track and Video by The Kid LAROI, is Out Now

LAROI collaborated on ‘Thousand Miles’ alongside Andrew Watman, Louis Bell and Billy Walsh

The Kid LAROI has released his first new song this year, a track named ‘Thousand Miles.’ Out on 22nd April, it follows Justin Bieber’s ‘Stay,’ which was released in July last year. That tune went on to become LAROI’s most successful, charting at No. 1 in over 20 countries and earning many Platinum certifications, including seven in his home country of Australia.

LAROI collaborated on ‘Thousand Miles’ alongside Andrew Watman, Louis Bell and Billy Walsh. Bell also co-produced the song with Andrew Watt, a frequent Post Malone collaborator. This single marks the first time he and Watman are working with LAROI for the first time. Walsh produced LAROI’s 2021 smash ‘Without You.’

There was also a music video for ‘Thousand Miles’ that was released. LAROI is mercilessly tortured by an evil version of himself in this clip directed by Christian Breslauer. The evil LAROI, clad in blood red clothing, pulls his innocent counterpart (dressed entirely in white) along a street, drops a pianoforte on him, and runs him over with a steam train.

Check out the video below:

LAROI teased ‘Thousand Miles’ prior to its release by utilising a fraction of the song as audio for two consecutive TikToks, urging his fans to reveal to him their “final mistake.” The first one saw LAROI combine footage with photographs of his previous manager Scooter Braun, who was fired just months after joining the corporate last year. LAROI then ridiculed himself in the second, using an early snapshot of himself with a terrible hairstyle.

LAROI posted a seven-second preview for the single and its music video to his YouTube channel earlier in the week. LAROI is enjoying a frozen dessert cone on a park seat before gazing up and have a piano fall on top of him in the video.

The teaser was followed by a minute-long trailer for the music video, which put the preceding teaser into context. The video will debut on LAROI’s YouTube channel in the U.S on 22nd April.
