Timothée Chalamet Fined $79 for Biking to London Premiere of ‘A Complete Unknown’

Timothée Chalamet paid more than he had expected for his eccentric entry at the London premiere of his film ‘A Complete Unknown’. Recently, the 29-year-old actor described how he decided to use a Lime bike to get to the event because of the terrible traffic, a decision that cost him money, on the French chat show ‘Quotidien’.
Chalamet clarified that he was fined £65 (about $79) since he was unable to park the bike at the premiere venue. Joking that his ride ended up acting as an inadvertent advertisement for the bike rental firm, he pointed out the irony of the scenario. The audience laughed as he hilariously justified his decision by referring to it as an ecological option.
Chalamet’s red carpet arrival on the Lime bike, wearing a sleek black suit and a silk shirt with a blue design, made him go viral. Following his arrival, he was observed taking pictures of the bike, which is a component of an electric rental service that is offered in more than 280 cities across the globe.

Presently, the actor is occupied with the promotion of his latest film, in which he plays a young Bob Dylan at the beginning of his career. Chalamet will host ‘Saturday Night Live’ as part of the marketing, most likely playing Dylan’s songs from the movie. He has already received nods for the 2025 Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild Awards, and Critics Choice Awards for his work.
Chalamet was spotted having a good time with Kylie Jenner despite losing to Adrien Brody in ‘The Brutalist’ for the Golden Globe for Best Male Actor in a Drama. At their table, the couple shared kisses and private moments while attending the event together. Jenner attracted attention when she wore a gorgeous, dramatic, backless silver chainmail outfit.
Chalamet is still in the spotlight for his portrayal of the iconic singer-songwriter, and there are still more nominations to come.
