Tom Cruise Shares Future Film Goals: Reveals the Types of Movies He Wants to Make Next

 Tom Cruise talked openly about his goals as he gets ready to accept an honorary British Film Institute Fellowship and travel to Cannes for the premiere of ‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’.  "Musicals are definitely on the radar," he remarked.  In addition to his trademark dramatic and action-packed performances, he sees no limits to his professional potential.

In the world of music, Tom Cruise is not a fresher. Tom Cruise played the iconic character of a rock star, Stacee Jaxx, in the 2012 musical comedy ‘Rock of Ages’. In this project, he gave out anthems like ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’ and ‘Wanted Dead or Alive.’

Fans will never forget that performance.  To bring his persona to life, he channelled Axl Rose and Jim Morrison and trained vocally for five hours every day for months. His dedication to the part was renowned.

 After just one voice session, director Adam Shankman reportedly described how he felt Tom Cruise was the ideal choice for the part.  After working on movies for decades, Tom Cruise demonstrated that singing is just another way to tell a story.
