Tom Holland Denied Buying His Own Non-Alcoholic Beer at Target Due to ID Issue

Recently, Tom Holland set out on a playful quest to purchase his own non-alcoholic beer, Bero, but encountered an unforeseen challenge. The 28-year-old actor posted a video of his trip to several Target locations in pursuit of the item on Instagram Stories.

He tried two different places without success before locating Bero at a third store. But things didn’t go as planned with the transaction. The retailer refused to accept his ID as evidence of age because it was from the UK. He was able to leave with his product after a nice employee stepped in to aid with the transaction.

Holland laughed at how ironic it was that he was almost unable to purchase his own brand. According to his earlier explanation, he founded Bero in order to address a need in the market for high-end non-alcoholic drinks and to provide consumers with a choice that makes them feel welcome. Bero, which is now offered nationwide at Target, is made to stand out while encouraging a feeling of community.

Holland even added a personal touch to a recent Target advertisement by referring to one of the Bero flavours as “Noon Wheat” in honour of Noon, the Miniature Schnauzer he and his fiancée Zendaya own.
