Tom Holland & Zendaya’s Next ‘Spider-Man’ Movie Unveils Official Title at CinemaCon

Tom Holland is getting ready for his next appearance as ‘Spider-Man’.

At CinemaCon 2025 in Las Vegas, Sony formally revealed that Holland would reprise his role as Peter Parker in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, the upcoming film in the franchise. In addition to Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, and newcomer Sadie Sink joining the ensemble, Zendaya will reprise her role as MJ Jones-Watson. The movie is scheduled to open in theaters on 31st July 2026.

At CinemaCon, Holland made a virtual cameo to preview the movie, which will carry on the plot following ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’s events that destroyed the multiverse.  In that 2021 blockbuster, former Spider-Man actors Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire made a comeback to the big screen, as did legendary villains Willem Dafoe, Jamie Foxx, and Alfred Molina.

Outside of the world of superheroes, Holland and Zendaya, who were engaged in January, are presently collaborating on ‘The Odyssey’, a film directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, and Robert Pattinson.  In the meantime, Zendaya is returning to her Emmy-winning role in HBO’s ‘Euphoria’ and has been seen filming ‘The Drama’ with Pattinson.

Sony also unveiled information about their future movie lineup at CinemaCon, which includes ‘Karate Kid: Legends’ and Sam Mendes’ four ‘Beatles’ biopics.  It was also reported that ‘Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse’, the eagerly awaited animated sequel, would be released on 4th June, 2027.

A few months after ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, which opens in theaters on 1st May, 2026, ‘Brand New Day’ is set to make its premiere.
