Trailer Released For Luther Vandross Documentary ‘Luther: Never Too Much’

The documentary ‘Luther: Never Too Much’, produced by Giant Pictures, delves into the life of the legendary R&B singer, songwriter, and producer Luther Vandross. Known for his smooth voice and timeless hits, Vandross left an indelible mark on the music industry before his untimely passing due to health complications.

Award-winning filmmaker Dawn Porter expressed her joy in creating the film, saying, "Luther was a spectacularly talented performer, composer, and producer. His influence spanned multiple genres, and it was a delight to discover each one." Porter added that the film has been a source of joy for long-time fans and a revelation for new ones, showcasing Vandross's brilliance.

The documentary premiered to rave reviews at the Sundance Film Festival and continued its successful run at prominent festivals like Tribeca, Hot Docs, and Nantucket. Its reception from audiences and critics alike has cemented it as a must-watch film.

Following its festival run, the documentary is set for a nationwide theatrical release. Sneak previews will be available through AMC theatres before its official launch. After its theatrical release, the documentary will premiere on television networks including CNN, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, and Max, making it widely accessible for viewers across North America.
