Travis Barker Performs Blink-182 Hits During Record-Breaking Twitch Marathon

Travis Barker joined Kai Cenat’s record-breaking Twitch stream to perform a high-energy set of Blink-182 classics. Cenat kicked off his month-long “subathon” at the beginning of November, aiming to break the record for the most paid Twitch subscribers.

Unlike following, which is free, Twitch subscriptions cost £4.99 and offer perks like ad-free viewing, exclusive emojis, and special badges. Cenat announced that 20% of the revenue generated would go toward building a school in Nigeria.

Dubbed Mafiathon 2, the event has featured Cenat streaming continuously for four weeks, with appearances by Snoop Dogg, Glorilla, and Lil Uzi Vert. Within just two weeks, Cenat shattered the previous subscription record of 326,252 and has since surpassed 560,000 subscribers with days remaining in the marathon.

To mark the milestone, Barker appeared on the stream, delivering a dynamic 16-minute drumming showcase featuring Blink-182 hits like All The Small Things and Dammit. The intense session even overwhelmed Cenat’s microphone setup, adding to the electrifying atmosphere.

Kim Kardashian, who is Barker’s sister-in-law, helped promote the Mafiathon 2 event by appearing in a comedic cinematic advertisement as Cenat’s therapist. In the ad, Cenat explained the demanding nature of his stream, noting that he was broadcasting 24/7 for 30 days, with viewers watching his every move, including eating, sleeping, and showering. Kardashian, in a humourous exchange, expressed concern, suggesting that the intense nature of his streaming didn’t seem very healthy.

Meanwhile, Barker and Blink-182 recently concluded their global One More Time tour, celebrating their latest album. The band has no further performances lined up until their headlining slot at the When We Were Young festival next October, where they will reunite with Panic! At The Disco.

Cenat’s monumental Twitch stream is set to wrap up on December 1, with appearances from stars like Kevin Hart and Druski already scheduled.

In other news, electronic music legend Deadmau5 has teamed up with World of Tanks Blitz to release his new track, Familiars.
