Troye Sivan “Scared” to Release New Song: ‘Easy’

Australian pop star, Troye Sivan, is all set to release a new track in the coming week. The singer took to social media to tease the upcoming song, which goes by the name ‘Easy’. 

Sharing a three second clip of the song yesterday, Troye Sivan wrote in the caption: “very, very scared to, but putting out this song next week. love you”. The video which is a montage of multiple clips revealing the name of the song in tricky lettering gives listeners a first look of the song. Falling in line with Troye’s signature use of sparkly ambient sounds, the track offers melancholic pop goodness. 

Troye posted a follow up to the first teaser earlier today. It is a green and red toned scan of his face, with a caption that simply reads: ‘EASY’. Further, a user on Twitter shared a longer snippet of the song. If the clip is authentic, ‘Easy’ will be an 80s synth pop melody with some quippy lyrics:

Troye’s last release was a single called ‘Take Yourself Home’. Exploring new alt-pop sounds and production elements, Sivan surprised fans with his versatility. In addition to the sound, sharing thoughts on loneliness and anxiety, the song was well received by fans.

There is no news about the exact release date of ‘Easy’, except that it will be out any time next week.
