Twenty One Pilots Have Released Information on a New ‘Cinema Experience’

Twenty One Pilots have revealed the specifics of a new ‘cinema experience’ that will be released next month on the big screen. On 19th May, the band will screen an extended clip of their 2021 live stream performance, which documents their recent album release show for ‘Scaled And Icy,’ for one night only.

A synopsis for the film reads: “Starring Twenty One Pilots’ singer/guitarist Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun, ‘Twenty One Pilots Cinema Experience’ delivers a psychedelic, reimagined take on live theatre and performance on a massive scale.”

“Both intense and dazzling, the event immerses viewers deep into the eclectic catalogue and imagination of one of the most creative acts in music as they unveiled their first new album in three years, ‘Scaled And Icy’.”

On 9th January, Twenty One Pilots performed their first show of 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana. They covered Elton John’s ‘Bennie And The Jets,’ and a fragment of My Chemical Romance’s 2004 song ‘I’m Not Okay (I Promise)’ was included in ‘Shy Away.’ A full world tour is planned for the rest of the year.

In June, the band will bring their Takeøver Tour’ to London for a quartet of live shows, including concerts at The Camden Assembly and The SSE Arena Wembley.
