TWICE Gear Up For An October Comeback
This week, the Kpop world has seen a flurry of activity and now, adding to that mix is none other than TWICE. Back in early June, the hit Kpop group, put out their ninth EP “More & More”. This record showed us a different side to the nine-member group. They took a step away from their lighthearted pop tunes and adopted a more fiery, techno-trap sound with this EP. And now, just two months since its release, the band is already gearing up for another comeback.
A source from their agency, JYP Entertainment, clarified that the girls were prepping for a new release in October, “It is true that TWICE is preparing a new album. We will announce the details of the comeback schedule once they are confirmed.”
Their last full length album made its landing on November last year. Titled, “&Twice” it served as their second Japanese studio album and witness some star-studded singles like, ‘Happy Happy’, ‘Breakthrough’ and ‘Fake & True’.
Considering that this will be a full-length project, it’s highly possible that the girls might also have some Western acts on board. In “More & More”, Zara Larsson, Justin Tranter and even Julia Michaels had a hand to play in the production and songwriting. So, a full length album could surely accomodate a fresh few Western acts.
Anyway, apart from this exciting news, there’s more to look forward to in the near future. TWICE is also gearing up to greet fans through the online concert “Beyond LIVE – TWICE: World in A Day,” which takes place on August 9, 3 PM. KST via the app – V Live.
Well, until we hear more news regarding their comeback, we can always bide our time with all the gems “More & More” brought forth.
