TWICE Release English Version of ‘More & More’
South Korean girl group, TWICE, have released a revamped version of their previously released single, ‘More & More’. The track, which marked their last comeback now has an all-English counterpart sung by the 9-member group. The alternate version was released earlier today, and has seen an overwhelmingly positive reaction from fans.
This version of the title track sees the member of TWICE singing entirely in English. Further, the translation closely follows the theme of the Korean version of the track, and sees the girls detailing the push and pull of new love. The chorus has them singing: “Even if you tell me good-bye/ Whenever you open your eyes/ You’ll think of me, you’re hypnotized/ You’re gonna say more more more more more and more/ Can’t help but say more more more and more.”
The flirty, summer anthem arrived on the 1st of June, earlier this year, amid much fan fare. ‘More & More’ serves as the title track of their 9th mini album of the same name. And, while TWICE has been defined by the “girl next door” vibe signature of their sound and voice, this album saw them reinventing their artistic personas.
With contributions from Zara Larsson, Justin Tranter and other notable presences in Western pop music, this album was a combination of hard-hitting raps and summery pop sounds. In addition, it also earned the girls their first Billboard 200 chart entry.
The English version of ‘More & More’ is now available on all streaming platforms.
