TXT Release Stunning Music Video for “Eternally”
South Korean boy group, TXT, have left fans in awe with the release of their ethereal music video for the track “Eternally”.
The 19-minute long video, worthy of being called a short film, details the individual journeys of the 5 members of TXT. Complete with stunning animation, fairytale-esque storytelling and an eerie narrative, this open ended project is a visual spectacle from start to finish.
The track, which serves more as background score to the music video, than the other way around, is the closing song to the latest release from TXT, a 6-track EP titled “The Dream Chapter: Eternity”.
‘Eternally’ is a disarming production, layered with airy vocals broken by distorted, fast-paced raps. Singing of recurring nightmares, the 5 members express sadness, fear and anxiety in a strategically composed track.
Following the lyrical theme of the song, the music video for ‘Eternally’ follows each of the five members in what seem to be their own personal nightmares. Featuring cinematic stylisation, illustrious animation and a suspenseful storyline, the 19 minute long details each of the TXT members’ biggest fears.
Upon release, the group was trending on Twitter, with fans sharing their amazement at the ‘Eternally’ music video. Check out some overwhelmingly positive fan reactions below:
