Tyler, The Creator Teases New Album With Single ‘Thought I Was Dead’

Tyler, The Creator has offered fans one last preview of his upcoming album CHROMAKOPIA ahead of its release.

CHROMAKOPIA will be the rapper’s seventh studio album and is scheduled to drop on October 28 via Columbia Records. This album marks Tyler’s first new music since his 2021 release, ‘Call Me If You Get Lost’.

So far, Tyler has shared two singles: ‘NOID,’ which features a chaotic, paranoia-filled music video starring Ayo Edebiri from The Bear, and ‘St. Chroma,’ the initial teaser for the CHROMAKOPIA project. Daniel Caesar also shared on his Instagram Stories that he provided vocals on the track’s chorus.

Now, with just one day until CHROMAKOPIA drops, the rapper has released another preview with the single ‘Thought I Was Dead,’ accompanied by a self-directed video. The album is set to be released at 6 a.m. EST.

Tyler recently revealed a world tour in honour of CHROMAKOPIA. Featuring special guests Lil Yachty and Paris Texas, Tyler will perform shows across North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

Next month, the artist’s music festival, Camp Flog Gnaw, will mark its 10th anniversary, boasting headliners such as Playboi Carti, Erykah Badu, André 3000, and Tyler himself.
