Adele broke down in tears as she embraced Celine Dion during her latest Las Vegas show on 26th October. The Chasing Pavements singer was performing at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, a venue originally designed for Dion’s 2003 residency. While singing ‘When We Were Young,’ Adele spotted the iconic diva in the audience and immediately began to cry. The two artists reached across the barrier for a heartfelt hug, with Dion kissing Adele’s hand before returning to her seat and wiping away her own tears. Check out the fan-captured footage of this heartfelt moment below.
There are eight dates left in Adele’s Weekends With Adele Las Vegas residency, with the final show scheduled for November 23. Following this, she has announced an indefinite hiatus, which has led to a surge in ticket prices for the last performance, with some selling for over £18,000.
Over the summer, Adele held a 10-date residency at the specially constructed Messe Munchen arena in Munich. During one of the shows, she took a moment to commend rising star Chappell Roan, stating that she is “absolutely amazing” and added that Roan is “spectacular” and not limited to just one song, as she has “like seven brilliant songs.”

Additionally, Adele confirmed her engagement to Rich Paul during a live performance and mentioned that she performed her 2008 hit ‘Chasing Pavements’ for the first time in seven years. In another concert, she paused her set to stream the semi-final and final of the women’s 100m Olympic races.
On the other hand, Celine Dion delivered a stunning rendition of Edith Piaf’s ‘L’Hymne à L’Amour’ at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics in June, marking her first public performance since disclosing her diagnosis of stiff person syndrome in 2022.
