Watch Fergie And Jack Harlow Open The MTV VMAs 2022

Jack Harlow invited Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas to sing with him live to kick off the MTV VMAs 2022.

One of the three co-hosts of this year’s awards program, which will be held in Newark’s Prudential Center, Jack Harlow is one of the performers with the most nominations. Harlow launched the show with a performance of ‘First Class,’ which featured the star on a set made to resemble a plane. Before introducing Fergie to the stage, he signed autographs for audience members as he left the stage and entered the arena.

A stanza from Fergie’s song ‘Glamorous,’ which was sampled on Harlow’s popular tune, was then delivered. Together they sang as the performance came to a close. 

In terms of nominations for the 2022 MTV VMAs, Lil Nas X, Kendrick Lamar and Harlow are tied with seven each. With six nominations each, Doja Cat and Harry Styles are close behind Taylor Swift, who is up for five prizes.

Harlow, meantime, revealed last week’s specifics of fresh headline performances in the UK in promotion of his album ‘Come Home The Kids Miss You.’ In November, the rapper will visit the nation with his tour, stopping in Birmingham, London, Manchester, Leeds and Nottingham.
