Watch ‘Jesus is King’ film trailer now!

Directed by Nick Knight, “Jesus is King” is a companion film to the upcoming Kanye album by the same name! The film that was originally set to release on September 27 earlier this year is now set to release in IMAX theatres on October 25.

The trailer is sound tracked by a gospel rendition of “Say You Will” with new lyrics. It ends with the biblical quote from the New Testament Book of Mark. The album that was released in the same name, “Jesus is King” contains 10 tracks featuring heavily religious lyrics and themes. He frequently invokes Jesus and never swears on the album. The track list appears to include all the songs Kim Kardashian had previously shared on a handwritten note posted on twitter, though they were shuffled in a different order.

West had formed his Sunday Service group in January 2019, performing gospel songs and covers of songs from his discography. The album that featured various artists such as Ty Dolla Sign, Nicki Minaj and Kenny G, is also featured in the movie. The project features production from West, Pi’erre Bourne, Ronny J and Timbaland among others.
