Watch Out For Pusha T’s New Album Release, ‘It’s Almost Dry’ on Friday
Pusha T has announced the release date of his fourth studio album, ‘It’s Almost Dry,’ to be 22nd April. The rapper announced the album’s title earlier this month, as well as a US tour in support of the album, which will begin in May.
The album includes the single ‘Neck & Wrist,’ which was recently released and features Jay-Z. The track was produced by Pharrell Williams and follows the release of Kanye West and 88-Keys’ ‘Diet Coke’ in February.
Pusha T’s most recent album, ‘Daytona,’ garnered him a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards. Since then, the rapper has released many stand-alone tracks, including ‘No Problem,’ ‘Sociopath,’ featuring Kash Doll, ‘Coming Home,’ with Lauryn Hill and ‘Puppets.’
He also worked on ‘Dancing With the Devil’ with Babyface Ray, and ‘Jungle Mantra’ with Divine and Vince Staples, as well as ‘Misfit Toys’ with Mako, last year. He collaborated with Black Thought on the tune “Good Morning” in 2020.
Lat month, Pusha T released a track that targets McDonald’s, ‘Spicy Fish Diss Track’, released in partnership with rival US food chain Arby’s.
Speaking to Complex earlier this year, Pusha T said of the new album: “All I’ll say is this: The album of the m****rf*****g year is coming. A Pusha album takes a long time. It takes a long time to put this s**t together, but when it comes together, ain’t nothing f*****g with it. We stamping that on everything. I don’t care what they say, how they act. I don’t care how viral they go, none of that. Nothing is f*****g with it.”
“I’m on some one thousand percent rap superhero shit, man. There’s a lot going on.”
