Watch the Exclusive Teaser Trailer for Adam Sandler’s ‘Happy Gilmore 2’
As a New Year’s present to its fans, OTT unveiled a special trailer for ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ on Christmas day. The teaser offers quick looks at returning characters and intriguing new cameos, but it doesn’t give away much about the upcoming sequel.
In this brief teaser, ‘Happy Gilmore’, played by Adam Sandler, is shown competing in a golf competition. Along with brief cameos by Travis Kelce and Bad Bunny, the teaser also features Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald, who both return to their roles from the original 1996 movie.
Sandler is a feisty hockey player who finds out he has a knack for golf in the original ‘Happy Gilmore’. Gilmore competes against haughty Shooter McGavin in a golf competition to generate money to save his grandmother’s home. Bob Barker and Carl Weathers also starred in the movie.

In addition to Sandler, Travis Kelce, and Bad Bunny, Margaret Qualley will appear in ‘Happy Gilmore 2’. Qualley recently revealed that her husband, Jack Antonoff, helped her earn the part by telling Sandler she was a good golfer, a fib she acknowledges was untrue. “I’m not good at golf. Qualley admitted, “I’ve never played golf in my life,” and said the job was “the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” However, she acknowledged that her role is “essentially deep background.” It has also been confirmed that Eminem will appear in the movie.

Sandler hinted that the rapper’s look would be “insane,” but he did not reveal Eminem’s exact position. When Sandler talked about working with Eminem, he said, “Eminem was cool.” When he arrived, he was excellent. He’s a great man who I’ve known for a long time, and when he came in, he was hilarious. They spent a day filming with Eminem, Sandler added, and he gave a ton of funny lines, some of which will be included in the finished product.
‘Happy Gilmore 2’ will debut exclusively on the OTT in 2025, while the precise release date is still pending.
