Wembley Stadium Hints at a Huge Linkin Park Concert
Linkin Park fans should stay tuned for an announcement at 12pm GMT on Thursday (November 14), following a mysterious post from Wembley Stadium on social media. On the evening of November 12, the stadium’s X (formerly Twitter) account shared an image showing the venue’s external screens displaying the message “Counting From Zero,” which appears to reference the band’s upcoming album, ‘From Zero’, set to drop on Friday (November 15).
This potential show would mark Linkin Park’s third UK performance since their reformation in 2023, with new members Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain joining on vocals and drums after the band’s hiatus following the tragic passing of lead singer Chester Bennington in 2017. The band previously performed at The O2 in London on September 24 and November 2.
As part of their From Zero world tour, Linkin Park is scheduled to perform next in São Paulo, Brazil, on the album’s release day, for the first of two shows in the city.
During their Dallas show on November 8, the band gave fans a preview of an unreleased track, ‘Casualty’. Co-founder and vocalist Mike Shinoda urged the crowd to create the biggest pit possible. This came right after a surprise appearance from Helmet’s Page Hamilton, who joined the band for the first-ever live performance of ‘All For Nothing.’
In September, Shinoda discussed the evolving dynamics within Linkin Park, describing the current “culture” of the band as the best they’ve ever had. On the ‘From Zero’ podcast, he clarified that he wasn’t comparing the current line-up to the old one, but focusing on the growth of band members such as Brad Delson, Joe Hahn, Dave Farrell, and himself. He explained that everyone is in a great place now, partly because of the gratitude they feel for being able to perform together again.
Shinoda also reflected on his late bandmate Chester Bennington, sharing how their collaboration was uniquely special. He noted that with Chester, he could present ideas that Chester would bring to life in ways no one else could. At the time, he didn’t realize how rare this level of collaboration was, thinking it was just part of the creative process. It was only after working with other artists that he realized how exceptional it truly was.
Looking ahead to their autumn tour, Shinoda made it clear that the band’s new direction is not about erasing the past. He expressed excitement about being back on stage, explaining that this new chapter is about connecting with fans and moving forward together.
