West and Fam are ‘Closed on Sunday’

Kanye has been in the news for numerous reasons, the good, the bad and everything in between. So, Lo and behold! He is back at it again. This time, for a very biblical purpose. West dropped the music video for his brand new track from the ‘Jesus Is King’ album called ‘Closed on Sunday,’ and this song’s music video released just yesterday, on Thanksgiving!

The video is filmed in a rather arid, deserted, cliffside region and features him, along with his wife, Kim Kardashian West and four children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. It also has an envoy of tanks, and here’s where a cameo comes in. Kris Jenner steps out of one of the tanks, making it one of the major highlights of the video.

The video also presents Kanye’s Sunday Service Choir and the rest of the Kardashian family and his friends. There is an aerial shot of the entire clan, and that’s what really makes the video seem larger than life!

The track by itself is rather trance-like and chill, unlike West’s other tracks that we’ve heard prior to ‘Jesus Is King’. There are lots of hidden meanings in the lyrics, that obviously includes biblical references and Chick-Fil-A.

‘Jesus Is King’ is the beginning of a whole new era for Kanye and by the looks of it, he is not disappointing. Add the Sunday Service to that and his art just got a lot more fun. We can’t wait to see what else Mr. West has in store for us.
