Dua Lipa is out with her latest track called “Physical” for her second album “Future Nostalgia”. The pop star has come out with two singles “Dont start now” and the title track from this album which is set to be released in April.
A series of trailers was released as teasers for its promotion. She also released an album cover art for “Future Nostalgia” yesterday. Dua Lipa seems to be floating in some kind of black outer space emptiness , dressed in a pink outfit on the cover art. It features the singer driving a vintage car. The only thing that stands out is her golden blond hair and her white gloves.
This club ready single “Physical” sports a catchy techno beat! “Common love isn’t for us “ she sings. This is exactly the kind of song that you’d be prancing around to , at the club. She called the song “Flashdance-y” when asked about it at the 2020 Grammy Awards.
“What I wanted to do with this album was to break out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to make music that felt like it could sit alongside some of my favorite classic pop songs, whilst still feeling fresh and uniquely mine,” Dua Lipa said in a statement.
When asked about her inspiration for the album she said that her work is greatly influenced by Madonna, the Queen of Pop as it is. She recently came under fire for being present at Lizzo’s after Grammy’s party. Twitteratis “Cancelled” the pop star for taking part in a scandalous party.
The diva who taught us not to call your ex through “New Rules’ ‘ is definitely upping her game this year . Her first Album in 2017 propelled her into fame and earned her the best artist award at the 2019 Grammy. So far this year she has dropped three for three sizzling tracks! Hopefully “Future Nostalgia” will be a non stop banger as well.
