Tom Brady is on a quest for redemption, revisiting his NFL combine history 24 years later. In a video posted on X, the seven-time Super Bowl champion, now 46, reminisced about his lacklustre 40-yard dash performance back then, clocking in at 5.28 seconds.
Determined to prove his speed even in retirement, Brady took another shot at the 40-yard dash with a crew capturing the attempt. Impressively, the two stopwatches recorded times of 5.12 and 5.18 seconds.

Brady shared the moment with his business partner, Mike Repole, on FaceTime, who jokingly remarked that such a performance 25 years ago would have secured a third-round draft pick. In 2000, Brady's combined performance led to his selection as the 199th pick in the sixth round of the NFL Draft.
Known for his unwavering commitment to diet and fitness, Brady's recent feat caught the attention of the NFL. The league highlighted his improved speed by overlaying his recent 40-yard dash with the one from 2000 on X, emphasizing that the 46-year-old Brady now runs faster than he did two decades ago.
