Adam Sandler Once Admitted Dylan and Cole Sprouse’s Acting ‘Made Him Sick’
The Sprouse twins are turning 32, making many of us feel old. Dylan and Cole Sprouse, once two of the most popular child actors, have successfully transitioned into adult careers, showcasing their enduring talent. While their acting prowess is well-known, it may come as a surprise that their Big Daddy co-star, Adam Sandler, once felt “sick” because their performances were so impressive.
Dylan and Cole’s recognizable faces today are the result of years of hard work and dedication. They grew up in the spotlight, with their mother, Melanie Wright, playing a significant role in their careers. In a 1999 PEOPLE magazine profile when the twins were seven years old, Melanie discussed their values, prayer habits, and responsibilities, noting that she encouraged them to embrace their differences.

Melanie also shared that Adam Sandler once praised the twins’ skills and talent, expressing his amazement at their wit and professionalism. Sandler told her their acting was “so good it makes me sick to my stomach.”
After a brief hiatus to pursue their education, both Dylan and Cole have remained active in showbiz. Cole starred as Jughead in the ‘Riverdale’ series, while Dylan appeared in the After film series and several young adult romance and drama movies.
Starting their acting careers at just six months old, the twins were regulars on ABC’s ‘Grace Under Fire’ by their first birthday. Cole later played Ben Geller on ‘Friends’, but their most notable roles were on Disney Channel’s ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ and its spin-off, ‘Suite Life on Deck’. These shows were transformative for the twins, allowing them to play different characters while working together.
The Sprouse twins have always spoken fondly of their experiences with Adam Sandler, and it must be a proud moment for them to know they impressed someone so well-regarded in the industry. Dylan Sprouse was recently seen in ‘The Duel’ and ‘Beautiful Wedding’, the sequel to his 2023 romance drama ‘Beautiful Disaster’. Cole Sprouse was last seen in the horror comedy ‘Lisa Frankenstein’.
