This announcement followed Adele's previous statement where she expressed the need to pause her Vegas residency due to health reasons. She explained that she had been unwell at the end of the last leg of the tour and throughout her break, and despite not fully recovering, she resumed shows which eventually took a toll on her voice. As per the doctor's orders, Adele decided to rest until she received medical clearance.
