Adele Calls Dua Lipa “The Next Big Pop Girl”

Adele, in a recent interview, after bagging the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award, poured her heart out about her journey as a woman in the entertainment world, her bustling career, life in sunny Los Angeles, and her dreams for what lies ahead.

When probed about her favourite tunes of the year, the ‘Hello’ songstress declared SZA’s ‘SOS’ as her absolute favourite and expressed her admiration for Victoria MonĂ©t. She also couldn’t help but gush about Dua Lipa’s return, reminiscing the first time she heard ‘New Rules’ and predicting that Dua would be the next big pop sensation.

Caught off guard by the news that women dominated the top three categories at the 2024 Grammy Awards, Adele couldn’t contain her enthusiasm, labelling it as “insane” and “f**king phenomenal.” The singer also delved into her emotional Las Vegas residency, ‘Weekends With Adele,’ sharing a tear-jerking encounter with the doctor who delivered her son.

Lady Gaga, making an appearance at one of her shows, left Adele in a state of nerves, causing her to doubt her performance. The ‘Rolling In The Deep’ star spilled the beans on her new beauty venture, ‘The Shelbourne Collective,’ and revealed her recent sobriety journey, confessing to being a “borderline alcoholic” since her 20s.
