The life and legacy of Michael Jackson are finally being brought to the big screen in a major Hollywood biopic titled 'Michael.' The eagerly awaited movie will honour the incredible journey of the renowned pop icon, whose dance movements, music, and worldwide influence continues to shape pop culture years after his death. The producers have now announced special early-access screenings of the movie, allowing viewers to see it before its official release, as anticipation among fans across the world rises. 

In an early celebration of Jackson's enduring influence on music and entertainment, the advance screenings will take place on 22nd April, two days before the movie's global theater release on 24th April.

A Long-Awaited Biopic Celebrating Michael Jackson's Legacy

Michael Jackson has continued to be one of the most significant personalities in music history for many years. Known as the "King of Pop," he transformed the music business with albums that broke records, memorable stage shows that popularized dance techniques like the moonwalk, and famous music videos like 'Thriller.' He is one of the most renowned performers of all time because of his influence across generations. 'Michael,' a planned biopic, seeks to depict this remarkable legacy.

The film, which has been written by John Logan and directed by Antoine Fuqua, follows Jackson from his early days as a member of the Jackson 5 to his rise to fame as a pop sensation. Graham King, who produced the Oscar-winning biography 'Bohemian Rhapsody,' is the project's producer. 
In an unusual and emotional casting decision, Jackson's real-life nephew Jaafar Jackson plays him in his big-budget movie debut.

The ensemble cast also includes Colman Domingo as Michael's father Joe Jackson, Nia Long as Katherine Jackson, and Miles Teller as music executive John Branca. Early Screenings and What Fans Can Expect

‘Michael' will receive one-night only early screenings in premium formats on 22nd April, according to the film's studio, giving fans a chance to see the picture before its official theatrical release. With only a few showtimes available, tickets for these advance screenings went on sale starting on 11th March at 6 a.m. PT/9 a.m. ET, making them a unique chance for loyal fans.

"For Michael Jackson's fans, Michael is the cinematic event they've been waiting for—the movie captures both the soul and the spectacle of the boy who became the King of Pop," said Lionsgate Motion Picture Group president of worldwide distribution Kevin Grayson in a statement.

"These early access screenings, in IMAX and premium large formats, will immerse audiences in the electrifying performances and bring the power of Michael Jackson's iconic music to life. It's the perfect way to be the first to see the movie," the statement added.

According to industry insiders, the movie is a significant cinematic event created especially for Jackson's enormous global fan base. The film promises viewers an immersive experience that portrays Jackson's larger-than-life performances and personal narrative, according to Lionsgate's worldwide distribution leadership.

On Tuesday, 10th March, Lionsgate unveiled a new trailer for 'Michael' that included more shots of Jackson in his most memorable moments, from his breakthrough solo career and massive international tours to his childhood crooning of 'Who's Loving You' for Motown's Gordy to land his family band a record deal with the storied label.
