Alanis Morissette Surprises New York Concert With Drummer’s Daughter Singing ‘Ironic’

The seven-time Grammy winner’s team confirmed that Alanis Morissette brought her drummer Victor Indrizzo’s daughter, Zahra Indrizzo, onstage during her show in Bethel, N.Y., to perform the 1996 hit song ‘Ironic’.

“That’s her dad,” Morissette told the crowd as the 19-year-old sang in the same city where the iconic 1969 Woodstock Music Festival was held.

Victor beamed proudly as he accompanied his daughter from behind his drum set, as captured in a video recorded. Zahra laughed at Morissette’s words and appeared to turn to her dad, blowing him a kiss.

Then, the ‘Head Over Feet’  singer, wearing a white top and red pants, faced Zahra onstage and joined her in the chorus. Morissette nodded encouragingly at Zahra as the young woman belted out the song, dressed in a white T-shirt, black mini skirt, and matching black boots.

This isn’t the first time Morissette has brought loved ones onstage. In June, she introduced her daughter Onyx Solace to a live crowd in Nashville to celebrate her 8th birthday.  As seen in a fan-captured video on TikTok, the ‘Hands in My Pocket’ singer led the crowd in singing “Happy Birthday” to Onyx, who then sang ‘Ironic’ with her mom.

Onyx looked completely at home on stage, confidently singing the hit while wearing leopard-print pants and a pink shirt. The duo shared a sweet hug after the song, joined onstage by other family members.
