Max announced that Mehcad Brooks, Jonathan Cake, and Logan Marshall-Green would be joining the third season of ‘The Sex And The City’ revival series, ‘And Just Like That.’

Brooks, known for his work on ‘Law & Order’, Cake from ‘Desperate Housewives’, and Marshall-Green, who appeared in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, have been cast as recurring guest stars. Additionally, Sebastiano Pigazzi, who plays Anthony’s boyfriend Giuseppe, and Dolly Wells, who portrays Miranda’s colleague Joy, will become series regulars in the highly anticipated new season.

‘And Just Like That’ will continue to explore the lives of Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they navigate love, loss, friendship, and family in New York City as women in their 50s.

Other returning cast members include Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson, Niall Cunningham, Cathy Ang, Alexa Swinton, and John Corbett. However, Karen Pittman, who played Miranda’s professor-turned-friend Nya Wallace, announced in March that she would not be returning for the third season due to scheduling conflicts.

In May, Cynthia Nixon seemingly confirmed that Sara Ramírez would not be reprising their controversial character. Nixon told Variety that both Ramírez and the series’ director Michael Patrick King felt that the character had run its course after the first two seasons, during which Che was a love interest for Miranda and played a significant role in her decision to divorce Steve (Eigenberg).

“They created such an amazing character — such a controversial character, but such an amazing character,” Nixon said of the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ alum. “They came in and shook everything up, and then the arc was completed.”
