And We “Adore You” Harry

Harry Styles has dropped a visual teaser for his third single “Adore You”, slated for release on the 6th of December, and our hearts just got mushy. In a recent interview with Rolling Stones, he revealed to his fans that the new song would be “lonely”. But, nothing could prepare us for the level of loneliness you see in the video. The official video is set to premiere on December 6th“Adore you” video is set to release on December 6, and is the third single from the singer’s second studio album “Fine Line”, releasing on December 13th.

The teaser was met with an overwhelming response from fans, with one even tweeting – “the world is becoming a darker place because Harry lost his smile”.

The video takes place on the hypothetical island of Eroda which is Adore spelt backwards. Harry Styles is the black sheep of the island that follows mundane superstitions about odd numbered days, and other gloomy thoughts. Harry Styles is referred to as the boy with a peculiar smile unlike the rest of the residents who have a “resting fish face”, from the time he was born.

“No one ever meant to be mean towards him, but in a town grown used to the way things were, no one knew what to do with something… different,” the narrator says. “They did their very best to ignore it, hoping it would go away, and eventually so did The Boy. He had lost his smile and without it the world grew darker, the wind colder, and the ocean more violent.”

Just a glimpse of the teaser has sent us over the edge. Hopefully we’ll be able to handle the dark and lonely side of Harry Styles. We can’t wait for the Music video!
