During the conversation, Taylor-Joy revealed her enthusiasm for the physical demands of the role and expressed her pride in the skills she developed. Despite not having a driver’s licence, she humorously noted that she could “pull a juicy lift 180” but struggled with parallel parking and highway driving, making her introduction to driving quite unique.

Taylor-Joy elaborated on her preparation, explaining that she began training a year before filming commenced. She worked closely with her stunt double, Haley Wright, and went through identical training regimens.

Taylor-Joy emphasised her desire to perform as many stunts as possible, with director George Miller’s full support, allowing her to immerse herself in the physicality of the role fully.
