Ariana Grande Sparks Excitement For ‘Wicked’ Movie With Teaser Silhouette as Glinda

Ariana Grande is building anticipation for the highly awaited release of ‘Wicked’. Taking to her Instagram Stories, the multitalented singer offered fans a glimpse into her role as Glinda the Good Witch in the forthcoming two-part film adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical.

In the shared silhouette photo, Grande was depicted in full costume, adorned in her elegant gown and sparkling tiara, gracefully wielding a sceptre. 

The ‘thank u, next’ chart-topper playfully initiated the countdown to the movie’s premiere, indicating there are precisely “nine months, 26 days, and three hours” remaining until the debut of the first instalment.

Additionally, Grande reposted a fan’s celebratory image on Instagram marking “300 days until Wicked.” Her social media activity followed co-star Cynthia Erivo’s heartfelt Instagram message, posted earlier in the week as filming concluded.

Erivo, who portrays Elphaba, conveyed profound gratitude for the transformative experience, expressing sentiments of appreciation for the stellar cast, crew and director. 

She reflected on the profound significance of the film and its characters, signifying the end of her journey with the iconic role of Elphaba.
