‘Assassin’s Creed Mirage’ New Update Brings Game Plus Mode

Ubisoft just dropped a new update for ‘Assassin’s Creed Mirage’ and it’s a game-changer. The 1.0.6 update, which hit the gaming scene, is bringing the much-anticipated New Game Plus mode to this action-packed adventure.

So, what’s the buzz about this new mode? Well, once you’ve conquered the main story on any difficulty level, brace yourself for round two. Jump into a new game, but this time, you get to carry over all those badass skills and the gear/costumes you’ve snagged on your first playthrough. The patch notes mention, “No need to start from scratch.”

Fancy skipping the prologue and diving straight into the action in Baghdad? Now you can, thanks to the New Game Plus playthrough option on the title screen or the pause menu. Ubisoft is making life easier for gaming enthusiasts.

And guess what? Embarking on a New Game Plus adventure unlocks Bayek’s Medjay outfit from ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Origins. Three unique dyes accompany this outfit, making you the trendsetter of the virtual world.

But that’s not all the update offers. The parkour experience just got a turbo boost, with an expanded range of back and side ejects. Basim is scaling heights faster and covering more ground than ever.

Now, what’s the tea about permadeath? Hold your horses. Despite the hype, this feature didn’t cut this update. The developers claimed that the permadeath mode is still in the oven and it’s expected to hit your screens early in 2024.

‘Assassin’s Creed Mirage’ hit the shelves in October and it’s been breaking records left and right. Ubisoft’s crown jewel snagged the title of the company’s biggest launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, based on unit sales.

Critics claimed that ‘Assassin’s Creed Mirage’ takes them back to the roots without feeling like déjà vu. Stealth is the name of the game and sneaking around the vibrant streets and rooftops of Baghdad is a thrill. Whether you’re an old-school Hidden Ones fan or a first-time blade-wielder, Mirage is one hell of an adventure.”
