During his Thursday interview on ‘The Today Show,’ Austin Butler shared that he was “so nervous” after bumping into a certain ‘Barbie’ star that he couldn’t even introduce himself.
Butler recounted his experience of being starstruck by Ryan Gosling. “It’s when you don’t expect to see somebody; so I saw him outside of a hotel that I was staying in, and I had to go into another door,” he explained. He added that he “couldn’t say hello” because he had admired Gosling so much growing up.

But Ryan Gosling isn’t the only big name to leave Butler speechless. He also shared memories of a recent star-studded party hosted by Paul McCartney. During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Butler mentioned that the party included the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Tom Hanks, Mick Jagger, Taylor Swift and Ringo Starr.
Despite having an impressive acting career and being a well-known figure in Hollywood, Butler remains incredibly grateful for his success. Reflecting on his journey, he once said, “I’ve been acting for 20 years, and you know, most of that time you just try to pay the rent and pay for gas, so right now I just feel very grateful.”
As we eagerly await Butler’s upcoming film, ‘The Bikeriders,’ there’s much to look forward to. This new crime drama, set in 1960s Chicago, delves into the world of bike gangs. Directed by Jeff Nichols, the film features an ensemble cast including Austin Butler, Jodie Comer, and Tom Hardy.
Opening in cinemas later this month, ‘The Bikeriders’ tells the gripping story of the Vandals, an outlaw motorcycle club that evolves into a dangerous criminal organisation. The film draws inspiration from Danny Lyon’s 1968 photo book of the same name, documenting the real-life Outlaws Motorcycle Club.
