Avril Lavigne Reveals ‘Greatest Hits’ Album to Coincide With Upcoming Tour

Avril Lavigne has delighted her fans with an exciting announcement – the release of her first-ever ‘Greatest Hits’ album, a comprehensive collection that will accompany her highly anticipated upcoming tour. The pop-punk star took to social media to unveil the news, building anticipation among her devoted following who have already secured tickets for her milestone concert series.

“Can’t do a greatest hits tour without a greatest hits album!!!” the Grammy-nominated ‘Girlfriend’ singer exclaimed, alongside the striking album cover art. “Dropping June,” she added, revealing the release date for the eagerly awaited compilation. This 20-track career-spanning project, now available for pre-order, promises to showcase all phases of Lavigne’s remarkable musical journey, from her groundbreaking debut, Let Go, to her most recent full-length release, ‘Love Sux,’ her seventh studio album.

In addition to the ‘Greatest Hits’ album news, Lavigne has delighted fans further by announcing the release of expanded editions of four of her critically acclaimed studio albums – ‘Under My Skin,’ ‘Best Damn Thing,’ ‘Goodbye Lullaby’ and ‘Avril Lavigne’ – on 12″ vinyl for the first time. These special editions will also include bonus tracks that were previously available only in digital formats, offering a truly comprehensive experience for her devoted followers.

Earlier in the year, Lavigne took to social media to announce her highly anticipated Greatest Hits tour, promising to perform cherished songs “from all of my albums and along with some of your favourites.” The ‘Complicated’ singer also teased the involvement of her esteemed musical peers, revealing, “Of course, all of my friends are joining me,” with acts like All Time Low, Simple Plan, Girlfriends, and Royal & the Serpent slated to serve as opening acts throughout the tour run.

“This is gonna be too much stupid fun celebrating my career with my friends and fans,” Lavigne added, her excitement palpable. “Who’s coming???? What songs do you want to hear???” she asked, inviting her dedicated fanbase to be a part of this momentous celebration.

The diamond-certified Canadian artist’s tour kicks off in Vancouver, BC, in May, and will make its way across various cities, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Charlotte, Nashville, Chicago, and Toronto, before wrapping up in Sept.
