Ayesha and Stephen Curry Announce Early Arrival of Fourth Child: ‘He’s Doing Great’

Ayesha and Stephen Curry have joyfully announced the early arrival of their fourth child, a baby boy named Caius Chai. The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post revealing that Caius was born on 11th May.

“Our sweet baby boy decided to make an early arrival!! He’s doing great and we are finally settling in at home as a family of 6! So grateful!” Stephan, 36, captioned a touching black-and-white photo of a person holding the newborn’s tiny hand. He concluded the caption with, “Caius Chai 5/11/24.”

Ayesha, 35, who had been maintaining her professional posts on Instagram, shared a candid photo on May 8 of herself and her daughter Ryan during a hike, just days before Caius’ arrival. “Hikes with my Chookas. My nature girl.,” she captioned the set of images from their outing.

The Sweet July founder first announced her pregnancy in March on the cover of her magazine. In an accompanying essay, she revealed that she and Steph thought their family was complete until they both felt “somebody was missing” from their crew.

Caius joins his older siblings Riley Elizabeth, 11, Ryan Carson, 8, and Canon W. Jack, 5, expanding the Curry family to six. Ayesha expressed her excitement about experiencing this pregnancy through the eyes of her children, noting, “Their perspectives are so different, and it’s been the most exciting thing.”

Steph also recently shared with the Associated Press that the couple tried to plan their new child’s birth around the NBA star’s anticipated debut at the Paris Olympics.
