Bebe Rexha Breaks Down in Tears, Feels “Hopeless” And “Fed Up” With The Music Industry

The ‘I’m Good (Blue)’ singer recently expressed her deep frustrations with the music industry through a series of heartfelt posts on X. Rexha, feeling overwhelmed, shared her experiences and the challenges she has faced in the industry. “I could bring down a BIG chunk of this industry. “I AM frustrated”. “I Have been UNDERMINED”. “I’ve been so quiet for the longest time,” she began.

“I haven’t seen the signs even though people constantly are bringing them up and they have been SO OBVIOUS. And when I have spoken up I’ve been silenced and PUNISHED by this industry. Things must change or I’m telling ALL of my truths. The good, the bad, and the ugly.” Fans quickly responded to her posts, seeking more details and showing their support.

One fan asked her “What happened again,” while another commented on a past incident where Rexha’s name was initially omitted from the hit 2015 collaboration ‘Hey Mama’ with David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, and Afrojack. Rexha’s reply highlighted the extent of her frustrations, “My love. That? Compared to all the other stuff you don’t know about? That’s Child’s play.”

When another user suggested that her timing coincided perfectly with the release of her new single ‘I’m the Drama’, implying it might be a marketing tactic, Rexha clarified her stance, “Marketing? I have no budget for that. IM FED UP.” This statement underscored her genuine feelings of disillusionment and exasperation with the industry’s dynamics. The “I’m a Mess” singer further elaborated on her emotional state, emphasising that her posts were not solely driven by anger.

“It’s sad. I’m sitting in my hotel room in London Crying my eyes out. I’ve felt hopeless for the longest time. I’ve been walking a lot through this city and meeting fans and they have really ignited something inside of me,” she wrote.

In a subsequent post, Rexha expressed gratitude to her fans, saying, “Honestly you all have given me the strength.” Her connection with her supporters provided her with a sense of hope and encouragement during these challenging times. Despite her turmoil, Rexha’s dedication to her music and fans remains unwavering.
