Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez Reunite for Violet’s Graduation

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez put aside their challenges to celebrate an important family event. 

Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 54, were seen together in Los Angeles, attending events related to his daughter Violet’s high school graduation. Affleck shares Violet, 18, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, and they also have two other children, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.

Dressed in a suit, Affleck carried a basket wrapped in pink paper, while Lopez, donning sunglasses, walked beside him. His mother, Chris Anne Boldt, followed closely behind the couple.

This public appearance marks the first time Affleck and Lopez have been seen together since 19th May, when they were photographed outside the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, California. 

Despite their joint appearance, sources have indicated that Affleck and Lopez are experiencing strain in their marriage and have been living separately in Los Angeles. Lopez has been engrossed in preparations for her upcoming concert tour and promoting her Netflix film ‘Atlas’. Meanwhile, Affleck has been busy filming ‘The Accountant 2’.

A source revealed that even after Lopez’s return to Los Angeles to rehearse for her tour, which kicks off in Orlando on June 26, the couple continues to live apart. Lopez remains “very focused on work.”

Jennifer Garner, 52, recently shared her emotional experience on Instagram as she attended Violet’s pre-graduation sendoff ceremony. Garner posted photos of herself in tears with the caption, “Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate.”

Affleck and Lopez rekindled their early 2000s romance in 2021 and married in 2022. Lopez, who has 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, has been managing her professional commitments while navigating the complexities of their relationship.
