Ben Affleck Attends Jennifer Lopez’s ‘Global Citizen’ Performance

Ben Affleck recently took a brief hiatus from his ongoing project in Austin to spend quality time with his children in Los Angeles before heading to New York. This stopover allowed him to reconnect with his family, emphasising the importance of balancing work commitments with personal relationships.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez stole the spotlight at a star-studded event spanning seven cities and six continents, organised as a fundraiser by Global Citizen. The event aimed to support Global Citizen’s Recovery Plan for the World focused on combating the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Lopez’s live performance in New York City’s Central Park was a showstopper, starting with an electrifying rendition of ‘Cambia el Paso’.

“It’s always such an honour to be here with so many people, so many loving people, trying to do so many amazing things together,” she said as the crowd chanted her name. “And because of that, tonight I want to do something special.”

“Do you guys mind if I do a song that no one has heard?” Lopez asked the audience. “Because it’s a special occasion, and I thought, ‘What special thing can I do?’ This song is about pushing through old mistakes and finding your destiny … But this is just for you guys here tonight. I want to share this with you because I feel, I feel, what I know is that we are on our way.”

The event reached its crescendo as Lopez welcomed special guests LL Cool J and Ja Rule to the stage. Together, they delivered iconic performances of ‘All I Have’, ‘I’m Real’ and ‘Ain’t It Funny’, much to the delight of the audience.
