Bessie Carter Shares Sweet Cheek Kiss With Co-Star Sam Phillips

Bessie Carter, known for her role as Prudence Featherington in ‘Bridgerton’, was recently photographed alongside fellow cast member Sam Phillips, who plays Lord Debling in the series.

The cosy snapshot, captured on a casual outing, shows Carter planting a kiss on Phillips' cheek, highlighting their off-screen camaraderie. Carter's representative has not yet responded to requests for comment on the candid moment between the two stars.

In Bridgerton, Carter portrays Prudence Featherington, a character entangled in family drama and estate intrigue alongside her sisters. Phillips, a newcomer to the series in its third season, portrays Lord Debling, adding romantic tension to the storyline involving Penelope Featherington.

This isn't the first time Carter and Phillips have been seen together publicly. They attended red carpet events in late 2023 alongside Carter's parents, marking their appearances for other projects like ‘The Crown’ and ‘Wonka’, in which Phillips and Carter's mother, Imelda Staunton, also starred. 

Previously, they were photographed together at a play featuring another Bridgerton actor, Luke Thompson, as shared by Carter on her Instagram. Phillips has shared insights into his journey to Bridgerton, reflecting on manifesting his acting career through positive thinking and vision boarding during a challenging period in 2021. 

His role as Lord Debling culminated in his efforts to secure meaningful roles in television, a testament to the power of manifestation and persistence in the entertainment industry.
