Beyoncé Unveils New Website And Surprise ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ Remix

Beyoncé unveiled a new remix of her chart-topping hit ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’. This ‘Pony Up’ remix injects a shot of country-inspired bounce and features a fresh verse and breakdown.

The remix finds Beyoncé calling out to “all my cowboys to the dancefloor” before urging listeners to “get on the dancefloor!” The new verse leans even heavier into the country theme, with lyrics like “Woke up this mornin”, my heart keeps racing’/ Straight to the bottom, we all need salvation” and “Need you to in this drought, take me downtown/ Gon’ leave the truck, whiskey, baby/ Let’s get weekend wasted.”

The outro also gets a makeover, with Beyoncé singing about “Pony[ing] up and salute[ing] your town/ Chasin’ our sins away, way brown and I’ll be damned if I cannot dance with you/ Baby, pour that sugar and liquor on me, too/ Furs, spurs, boots.”

But the surprises didn’t stop there! Beyoncé also launched a new website called beencountry.com. The site offers a glimpse into Beyoncé’s connection to country music, featuring both childhood photos of her singing at a pageant and a recent image of her sporting a daring cowboy outfit.

The website also includes a cryptic message: “This ain’t a country album. This is a ‘Beyoncé’ album.” While details are scarce, the site hints at collaborations with country legends  Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson, alongside younger stars like Miley Cyrus and Post Malone.

This project also appears to spotlight Black country artists like Rhiannon Giddens, Tanner Adell and Willie Jones. The website even hints at a cover of The Beatles’ ‘Blackbird’ featuring Beyoncé alongside a group of talented Black female country singers.
