'Black Mirror' Season 7: Netflix Drops Teaser

With the renewal of Charlie Brooker’s 'Black Mirror' for season 7, the recent Netflix event in London has dropped some tantalizing hints about the plot, cast, release date and its connection to another show, USS Callister.

Although the exact release date hasn't been confirmed yet, an announcement video teased "six new stories" in the upcoming season, with a subtle confirmation towards the end that the show will hit our screens in 2025. While the cast is expected to remain the same, Netflix has suggested that this season will have ties to the sci-fi series USS Callister.

During the Netflix event at Picturehouse Central Cinema and Cultural Space in London on 14th March 2024, the streaming giant dropped a bombshell: "Robert Daly is dead, but for the crew of the USS Callister, their problems are just beginning."

This episode will be a sequel to season 4, where Daly makes a significant breakthrough in his game. It seems Netflix is venturing into experimental territory by intertwining these two sci-fi flicks. Since Daly is a recurring character in both shows, establishing a connection is a natural move.

The announcement sent fans on a roller coaster of emotions. With the year already off to a great start for Netflix, this revelation has taken things up a notch. One user expressed hope that the new season would capture the essence of the first three seasons, while another thanked Netflix for the announcement.

However, not everyone was thrilled. A few disappointed fans lamented that it's only March 2024 and they must wait a whole year for the release.
