Blackpink’s Jisoo Makes History as The First Musician to Lead Campaign For ‘Self-Portrait’

Blackpink’s Jisoo has been selected as the latest brand ambassador for the renowned London-based fashion label, Self-Portrait, marking her debut collaboration since the launch of her fashion line, Blissoo. Embracing the brand’s SS24 collection, the acclaimed Korean pop sensation becomes the inaugural musician to grace a campaign for Self-Portrait.
Han Chong, the visionary founder and creative director behind Self-Portrait, expressed his admiration for musicians as a significant source of inspiration. He emphasised his long-standing desire to collaborate with an artist who embodies the brand’s ethos and resonates with women worldwide.

Founded in the UK by Chong, Self-Portrait has established itself as a contemporary fashion powerhouse, with a global presence spanning flagship stores in prominent cities such as London, Bangkok, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenzhen and Taipei.
Meanwhile, in the realm of music publishing, Warner Chappell Music, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group, has appointed Lisa Li as the managing director of its China division. Li, based in Beijing, will report to Arica Ng, the president of Asia Pacific for WCM.
Additionally, Mar Ma assumes the role of director of A&R for China, reporting directly to Li. Tasked with spearheading the development and execution of creative strategies aligned with the company’s vision, Ma will collaborate closely with teams across Asia.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the new role, Li underscored the thriving music landscape in China and her commitment to nurturing emerging talent while forging strategic partnerships to shape the future of the industry. Ng expressed confidence in Li’s leadership abilities and strategic acumen, emphasising her extensive experience and deep understanding of the Chinese market.
