February marked a momentous occasion as Lionsgate tantalised audiences with the unveiling of the first images showcasing the beloved characters adorned in meticulously crafted costumes. Shortly thereafter, the studio unleashed an adrenaline-fueled trailer, offering a tantalising glimpse into the action-packed world of ‘Borderlands’.

Drawing inspiration from the immersive video game universe set on the planet Pandora, the film adaptation promises a gripping narrative as characters embark on a quest to uncover the secrets of a mystical relic amidst the desolate landscapes of this alien world.
An ensemble cast of unparalleled talent headlines the cinematic endeavour, featuring luminaries such as Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Jamie Lee Curtis and more. Blanchett commands the screen as the formidable bounty hunter Lilith, with Edgar Ramírez portraying the formidable Atlas, the epitome of cosmic power, as described in Lionsgate’s official announcement.
Joining Blanchett and Ramírez are a host of dynamic characters, including Hart’s seasoned mercenary Roland, Greenblatt’s ferocious demolitionist Tiny Tina, Munteanu’s imposing protector Krieg, Curtis’s eccentric scientist Tannis and Black’s irreverent robot Claptrap.
