During a backstage meeting with Jack Osbourne, the reality TV son of the legendary MTV series 'The Osbournes,' Hollywood star Brad Pitt recently made an unexpected disclosure. Jack reported that Pitt and his then-wife Jennifer Aniston use to watch the episodes "every night in bed" and were such fans of the show that they requested advance copies through their agents. The revelation, shared on Osbourne's current appearance on 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here,' sparked nostalgia and renewed interest in both the old show and the former power couple's time together.

Over the course of his decades-long career, Brad Pitt has had breakthrough performances in movies like 'Fight Club' and grown to become one of Hollywood's most well-known and paid actors. His on-screen image evolved over time from that of an edgy novice to that of a mature actor with gravitas, charisma, and emotional depth. But off-screen, the freshly disclosed story reveals a more laid-back, relatable side—spending evenings at home with Jennifer Aniston, relaxing with reality TV instead of big-budget premieres.

According to Jack Osbourne's retelling, Pitt and Aniston didn't just casually watch—they actively sought early copies of 'The Osbournes,' thanks to their agents, and made it part of their nightly routine. Their enthusiasm speaks to how even A‑list actors can find comfort and levity in unpredictable, unscripted TV.  It's a reminder that fame doesn't always mean distance from relatable pleasures.

'The Osbournes' Phenomenon—and Its Lasting Impact

The show in question, 'The Osbournes,' aired from 2002 to 2005, and became one of MTV's biggest hits. It gave viewers a messy, erratic, and delightfully honest glimpse into the lives of celebrities by following the real-life domestic turmoil of the Osbourne family, which included rock star Ozzy Osbourne, his wife Sharon Osbourne, and their kids Jack and Kelly Osbourne.

The show changed the notion of reality TV for many people by demonstrating that even larger-than-life celebrities could deal with relatable problems, family disputes, peculiarities with pets, and household chaos. It helped usher in a new genre of celebrity‑family programming, paving the way for many similar shows that followed.

The fact that Brad Pitt, with his sophistication and blockbuster fame, was an ardent fan shows how popular the show was. It wasn't just a guilty pleasure for everyday folks: it captured the attention of Hollywood's elite too. Additionally, Jack Osbourne's appreciation gives the narrative a sentimental touch and serves as a reminder to fans why 'The Osbournes' left such a mark.

Backstage at the Emmys—A Nostalgic Confession

The moment came during an Emmys ceremony green‑room encounter years ago—as Jack Osbourne recounts on 'I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.' He claims that Brad approached him, and said, "I absolutely love your show." Then came the bombshell: "Jennifer and I got our agents to get us copies of it. We watch it every night in bed." Jack said he thanked Pitt, and later told his fellow castmates that it was "the most holy s—moment."

Instead of just tabloids or award shows, the image is of Mr. and Mrs. Hollywood, decompressing after a long day with some unscripted reality comedy on the small screen.
