Brad Pitt recently shared a hilarious and slightly embarrassing moment from one of his earlier films that left an entire crew scrambling to escape the set. Known for frequently eating during scenes in his films — from chips in 'Se7en' to turkey legs in 'Troy' — Pitt recalled a time when his on-screen eating habit caused unintended chaos.
Speaking on the 'New Heights' podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce, the 'F1' star reflected on a particularly rough shoot that involved multiple takes of him devouring a heavy plate of beans and bacon. The scene, set in a small café with over 60 crew members packed in, required Pitt’s character to eat like it was his first proper meal in days. Going full method, he ate every bite during every take.

Brad Pitt's Hilarious Bean Situation
What started as a commitment to realism quickly turned into discomfort. After several takes, the beans caught up with him. Brad Pitt said he stayed seated, trying to power through, but then nature took its course. Though he initially thought no one noticed, he quickly realised otherwise when the entire crew abruptly exited the set. The actor described the moment as a diabolical event that sent the entire team fleeing the building.
Though Brad Pitt didn’t confirm which film the scene came from, it’s speculated to be from 'Johnny Suede' (1991), a film that features his character eating baked beans.
Since then, Brad Pitt said he’s learned to pace himself during food-heavy shoots.

The story surfaced as the actor promotes the 'F1' movie, currently showing in cinemas. In the film, Pitt stars alongside Damson Idris and Javier Bardem in a high-octane drama set in the world of Formula One.
Damson Idris also shared his admiration for Brad Pitt and Bardem, noting that both actors support his growth, not just in acting but in his approach to life and having fun with fame — something Pitt appears to do quite naturally, even when things go hilariously wrong on set.
