Cox didn’t stop there, also criticising Hollywood films for their lack of accuracy. He singled out Braveheart, praising Mel Gibson’s performance but criticising the film’s historical inaccuracies, such as the portrayal of Gibson’s character impregnating the French princess, which he labelled as “b*llocks.”

Despite his critical stance on certain performances and films, Cox expressed openness to the idea of returning as Logan Roy in a ‘Succession’ film if the script meets his standards. However, he also commended show creator Jesse Armstrong for ending the series at the right time, believing that it’s essential not to overstay their welcome and to leave audiences wanting more.
