Brie Larson is “Thrilled” by Her Emmys Nomination

Brie Larson, known for her roles in ‘Captain Marvel’ and now in ‘Lessons In Chemistry’ on Apple TV+, is riding high on the waves of success with multiple nominations at the upcoming 2024 Primetime Emmys. The series, a hit on Apple TV+, has been nominated in several categories, including the prestigious Limited or Anthology Series.
Taking to social media recently, Larson expressed her heartfelt gratitude alongside a throwback selfie with the ‘Lessons In Chemistry’ team from her birthday celebration on set. In her Instagram story, she wrote, “I am trying to find the words, but this thank you just feels so big.” Her appreciation extended to the Television Academy for recognizing the team’s “talent, drive, and passion.”

The series, which garnered a total of nine nominations spanning cinematography, music composition, costume design, and directing, has been a collaborative effort close to Larson’s heart. She lauded the dedication of her “amazing” cast and crew and expressed profound thanks to the show’s creators for opening her heart to a compelling narrative.
“I am humbled by the world Bonnie Garmus and Elizabeth Zott has opened my heart to,” Larson shared, “And I am thrilled beyond belief that we get this chance to toast and eat together one last time. I’m the happiest woman in the universe.”

Joining Larson in the celebration are her co-stars Aja Naomi King, nominated for Supporting Actress, and Lewis Pullman, nominated for Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series. The competition for Best Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series promises to be fierce, with Larson vying against talents like Jodie Foster, Juno Temple, Sofia Vergara, and Naomi Watts.
‘Lessons In Chemistry,’ created by Lee Eisenberg, is based on Bonnie Garmus’s novel and centres on Elizabeth Zott, played by Larson, a chemist who uses a 1960s cooking television show to educate housewives about chemistry.
