Britney Spears Reports Theft of Jewelry From Her Home

Britney Spears took to Instagram to reveal a burglary at her home, where she claimed that all her jewellery had been stolen. In a video, Spears showed her mostly empty jewellery box as evidence, expressing fear and stating, “See? There’s nothing. Well, there’s a Mother Mary. … I’m scared. It’s all gone. All my jewellery is gone.”

In the caption, Spears admitted that the incident has left her with a new fear, making her hesitant to purchase new items out of fear they might also be stolen. While she mentioned buying only fake jewellery now, she expressed difficulty parting with pricey belongings she has had for years, some of which were “originally made for her.” She highlighted the loss of a baby cross she had since she was four years old.

This isn’t the first time Spears has reported a robbery. In 2021, she called the police to report a theft at her mansion in Thousand Oaks, California. However, when deputies arrived, her security staff informed them that Spears had changed her mind about filing a report.

Despite detailing the alleged robbery on Instagram, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office confirmed they had not received any calls from Spears’ residence. Nevertheless, Spears has since returned to her regular posting habits, including expressing her desire for a tongue piercing and discussing her weight loss.

The termination of Spears’ conservatorship reignited the #FreeBritney movement on social media. Her autobiography, ‘The Woman In Me,’ was released in October last year.
