Britney Spears Reunites With Problematic Ex Paul Soliz

It appears that Britney Spears has found herself back in the arms of Paul Richard Soliz, just weeks after declaring her single status on Instagram. According to reports by Page Six, the iconic pop star and Soliz, who has a chequered past, were seen together at Soho House in Malibu on July 30. The photos, obtained by The Daily Mail, show Spears in good spirits, smiling brightly as she stood with Soliz and some friends outside the venue.

Britney kept her look effortlessly stylish with a floral blouse, white denim shorts, and red sandals, complemented by sunglasses. Soliz, on the other hand, opted for a more casual ensemble with a blue and white plaid shirt over a plain white tee, paired with navy ’90s-style baggy trousers and Nike trainers.

This reunion is particularly surprising given the recent turn of events. Spears had ended her relationship with Soliz, reportedly because she felt he was taking advantage of her lifestyle. In a now-deleted Instagram post, she emphatically declared herself "single as f-ck" and vowed never to be with another man again. Sources told TMZ that Spears made this decision after witnessing what she described as Soliz’s "true colours."

Paul Richard Soliz, who previously worked as Spears’ housekeeper and handyman, was linked to her following her divorce from Sam Asghari in August 2023. Their relationship reportedly faced challenges from the outset, not least due to Soliz's criminal history, including charges of felony firearm possession. It's said that he was hired without proper vetting, and their professional relationship soon turned personal.

A particularly concerning incident occurred in May at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, where Spears injured her ankle during an argument with Soliz. Spears later downplayed the incident, explaining on Instagram that she had simply fallen and twisted her ankle.

Friends and close associates of Spears have expressed their concerns, with one friend describing Soliz as a "red flag" and warning that he could be dangerous. Another expressed similar sentiments, indicating that he had been "bad news from the start."
